CHILDISH, a.

1. Belonging to a child; trifling; puerile.

When I became a man, I put away childish things. 1 Cor. 13.

2. Pertaining to a child; as childish yeas or age; childish sports.

3. Pertaining to children; ignorant; silly; weak; as childish fear.
