The stopovers for this bus, in major cities, would be a great place to hand out David F. Reagan's tract, "The Disappearing Bible." That tract is very inexpensive and can be gotten here: http://www.baptistink.com/Tracts_s/4.htm.

The tract explains why the KJV Bible is disappearing and about the false modern versions taking its place.

It's a really great tract!

I suppose there is nothing preventing persons from transcribing the assigned verse from the KJV, no?

Your right, that would be a great idea, prices are more than fair.

I look at how the KJ is disappearing, but still know that God will preserve His word, even when the preachers have turned there backs on the KJB and convinced there congregations to do the same. All in the name of simplicity.

Isaiah 40v8
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

As long as you leave the Thee's and Thou's when transcribing,i bet no one would notice. Its those 2 pesky words that makes the bible so hard to read.

I wasn't aware of how much marketing was behind the NIV until i had seen this.

Now that would be great, brother, if all that trash was those horrid modern Bible versions!! There are so many of them... that trashing them would really make an enormous, heaping PILE, thousands of miles wide!! But ohhhh! to rid the world of them - and replace them with the TRUTH from the KJB!!! What a JOY that would be!!!

Yeah, the only Bible ever burnt en masse was the King James and its Antiochian text line predecessors.

I did however burn my old NIV Teen Study bible about three years ago. I had already come to the truth of the AV, but this relic from my youth was still hiding in a bookshelf somewhere. Once I found it, along with the NIV my supposedly Christian high-school gave me upon graduation, I burned them on my back balcony and threw the remains in the trash.

Here's an alarming expose on the additional perversions of the Teen Study NIV, over and beyond the perversion of the actual NIV text:

It would have been awesome to sneak up to their bus and crazy-glue a bumper sticker with Matthew 12:38-40 on it.

A heaping pile is a good description alright.

My Ex-pastor had tryed to convince me to get away from my KJB and go with an NIV(what else would you expect?)so he gave me an NIV student bible, needless to say,it won't burn,so it ended up in a landfill.

More importantly though, the amount of energy expended in a corrupt version, just for the sake of profit. The ones who produce these bibles don't care about truth and its getting more obvious that people don't either.

II Timothy 4 v 4
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
