This is not a happy night. But Obama is no worse than Nero; and, unless we're better than Paul, we simply cannot entertain thoughts of bitterness, resentment, and rebellion to enter our hearts.

We have a very specific instruction from our Lord, for moments such as these, and we'd better obey it: In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (1 Thess. 5:18).

This is where the rubber meets the road for us: do we believe and obey God's words, or do we not?

Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Our pastor was just describing how horrible Nero was on Sunday morning... thanks for the reminder.

Unhappy

nobody has won anything yet - McCain is still very close in many of the so-called Blue states - with a large number of precincts not reported yet. It could swing back around. Further, the Electoral College does not vote until December - and they are not bound to go by the popular vote...

Maybe he will end up winning - but our commission as Christians does not change - it might get a little bit harder to fulfill...

Pray for Obama. I certainly did not want this but it has come to pass. We can not be bitter but rather supportive. God allowed him to take this election whether for good or bad. Remember, God is still in control! GOD BLESS AMERICA!

I really don't understand how they can say he's won anything when all the votes have not been counted.

As much as everyone tries to say the election is not about race, it is. Last night lots of black people from around here were running around in groups cheering saying "WE won! We won!".

Well according to the reprobate media, only white people are racist. We know that's a bunch of cow feces, but that's the majority opinion in America today.
