Let's not forget, the Muslim conquests may have completely taken over Europe if someone had not resisted them, and the first Crusade was a response to hostile Muslim advances into the territory of the Byzantine Empire.

During the 8th and 9th centuries, the Arabs had already invaded southern Italy along with Sicily and by 846 the Muslims had sacked Rome! The Arab Muslim conquests of 632–732 even dwarfed the Roman Empire, here's a map:

Regardless of how you see history, we have to see Islam's rotten fruit in the light of the modern day. Try having a public Bible study in Saudi Arabia and see how tolerant they are about it. Here is an excellent article regarding the war of Islam on Christianity today:

Yeah I just read that recent news article (I think it was on wnd) about that poor sister in Egypt who wanted to change her religious views to Christian on her ID. I guess the lawyer was like "you're a muslim, you can't change" and she's like "no, I'm a Christian" and then he's like "I'd kill you right now if I had a knife" !!! It's insanity, man. My heart goes out to all every Christian living in Islamic nations. God be with them and give their witness great power!
