Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. (John 21:5-6 KJV)

I suppose the kookoo for cocoa puffs PETA folks think they were casting their nets into the waters to gather some veggies for Jesus and just happened to catch Sea Kittens.

Oh, and I always cry whenever I read verse 7. I can't help but feel what Peter must have felt when he heard John tell him that Christ was on the shore. *sigh* Come Lord Jesus!

For Jesus' sake,
Stephen

Luke 24:42, 43 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
And he took it, and did eat before them

Christ indeed was a vegetarian, NOT!

I sanctify it with the word of God and prayer

this is PETA. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. Roms 1:21-25
