Default KJV equivalent in Russian

1.) Does anyone know the KJV equivalent in the Russian language?
2.) Is there a source that lists all the KJV equivalents in each language?

It is impossible that something could be equal to the KJB in Russian. However I am sure there are TR based translations there.

Hello "One Way". Yes, It is called the "Russian Synodal", and you can get one. The link below has Russian N.T.s , whole Bibles , a paperback Gospel of John , and they show something that would be helpful if you have Russian relatives/friends/co-workers. It has the A.V. (English) and the Russian version side-by side.

click on this link --> http://www.trinitarianbiblesociety.org/

then look in left margin and click on "TBS Online Sales", then look toward the bottom of the page for "Non-english", and click on "Russian".... The prices are in British money (Pounds --> which symbol is an L with a loop). Don't know what country you are in, but they can figure the correct prices. They have branches in other countries also, if that would be closer to you. Hope this helps you.

It is not impossible for there to be a KJV equivalent in other languages.

This website has exactly what you are looking for: www.wcbible.org.

Hmmm...

Obviously, I am asking this question because I have a personal interest in finding the Word of God in Russian language. SO do you have any knowledge realted to the subject or did you just want to make an unhelpful quick snipe. I looked at your website...very impressive...you seem to be an expert in this subject so you must have some knowledge. You do realize all of this is about people right?

How can a final standard have an equivalent? What we have is good foreign translations which are similar to the KJB, but none can match the KJB, as one Puritan said, it is the best translation in the world.

Interesting...so I take it based on your comments and your doctrinal statement http://www.bibleprotector.com/vfc.htm that you bleieve God has only inspired and preserved His Word in English?

I do not believe God inspired His Word in English, or preserved it only in English.

God inspired in the original languages. There are many copies of this today. Preservation covers all that in general.

But God has been able to gather out of these witnesses, by providentially using men, to have one perfect text and translation. It is the King James Bible. This means that the KJB is perfect in showing exactly what was there in the Autographs, and what exactly God was communicating.
