Isaiah 9.6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Thank You, Jesus...

Amen and Thanks Steve 54!

I've got Handel's Messiah playing on the CD player as I read your Post!

I would encourage any and all of you folks (whether you celebrate the commercial side of the season or not) to find a Church in your town that is having a candlelight Christmas Eve service tonight. Luke Chapter 1 and 2 will most likely be read from and great Christological/Theogical filled hymns will be sung. Be a witness to the neighbors and other family members that, rather than watching for flying reindeer--- You'll be looking for a star over the little town of Bethlehem...

For unto us a child is given..!

Thanks Steve54, and may you have a wonderful Christmas as well.

Happily, I'll be able to go to the Christmas Eve service this year......for the first time in the 11 years I've been saved!

God bless you all! You're very dear people, and I'm so glad that we are united in the One Who was born to die.
