I'm enjoying my free cup of "Pikes Place" right now! All thanks to y'all, otherwise I would've had no idea of such a "reward" for voting!

Our Krispy Kreme is also giving away a free donut to everyone with an "I Voted" sticker. I hope that I can get down there before they get shut down by the gestapo. The Starbarf is not too far from them so between going out of my way to get the donut and the coffee, I will just about spend the same in gasoline.

There's a K-Kreme right down the road from where I work...

Mmmmmmmmm...... when that *light* is on and you know they're fresh out of the oven.

I won't rub it in, but.......

We have Krispy Kreme up here, but I'm sorry, they don't compare to our "friend along the way."

When I was a delivery driver, my truck was FOREVER gettin' sucked into that drive-thru........

'Course, I'm not generally one to decline a free coffee.....or a free donut...........or any free food, for that matter!

I'll eat a KK donut, but I'm not crazy about them as some are.

To me, they're like eating cotton candy: all air and sweetness, nothing of substance.

I prefer real 'cake' style donuts, which are harder and harder to find. When I was a little girl, the bakery truck would come by our house twice a week, and we'd often get bread or treats like donuts from the driver's big box.

(boy do I sound like a granny in that post!!!)

LOLOL yes, you do, HereAmI!

Do you remember the milk man, too?

Real cake donuts...you'd probably like Timmy's old-fashioned plain...go great with milk!

Well I got my cup of what-is-supposed-to-be coffee from Starbarf (burnt beans but hey, it was free) and went down to KK for my "election" donut (read, white, and blue sprinkles over a glazed w/chocolate topping). Later, I will go to Ben & Jerry's for a free ice cream. At least now my vote for Alan Keyes was worth something.
