The Michael Jackson Connection
I received a message from a man the other day who said the, "Michael Jackson was the epitome of American Ethics, Culture and Philosophy. His death is the sign of the impending end of American Influence in the world"
As I thought about it more and in view of what has been going on the last 6 months his death could very well be a sign post for secular America to look at. NK's rumors of Nuclear war, Iran balking pride against America, no country in the world has respect for America any more. They have taken all we had to offer and now they abandon US. Pray for American's to come to the Lord in these perilous times. |

A sad ending to a very disturbed person.
They are saying on the news tonight that he was taking lots of prescription drugs, reminds me of Heath Ledger's story. I remember when he had the big run-in with his fellow Jehovah's Witnesses over his image and antics. Also dead this week: Farah Fawcett Ed McMahon Last edited by Bro. You know I had prayed for him to get saved. Even for an opportunity to meet him so I could share the Gospel of Christ.

I was never a big fan of Jackson to be honest, even before I was saved. Also, I never realized that Michael Jackson had outbid Paul McCartney in 1984 and purchased the rights to so much of the Beatles music, more on that here:

Was Michael Jackson a "Baptist"?
What is your opinion? It has been reported of all the ministers, a "Baptist" was chosen for MJ's funeral.

Who knows, maybe someone in his family wanted a Christian service.
If this is the same fellow, he seems to have an ecumenical slant, he's president of the IMA in Pasadena: http://www.pfbchurch.net/pages/index...d=12&Itemid=38 At any rate, I hope that pastor was able to share the Gospel with him before he left earth. Here are some more interesting facts about Jackson's funeral: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael...morial_service |
