On the other hand, while we must strive to be steadfast and stand for the Word of God, we must be cautious that we don't become doctrinally correct and spiritually bankrupt. I know we "Bible Believing Ruckmanites" have the truth, 100% and perfect, but I know a lot of people that walk around with an NIV or an NASB and have a more Christ-like attitude than I do a lot of times. Just because I have the absolute Truth doesn't mean I always act on it as much as I should, and that's something that we all should try to keep an eye out for in our own lives.

Thanks for that brother, it's good to be reminded.
That was a wonderful response brother.

My experience with Peter Ruckman has not been pleasant. I sent him a leter back in 1991 while in college and his response was very mean spirited and rude. From that point on, I did'nt care what he had to say, I was not listening. The preacher who lead me to the Lord is now a missionary in Korea and they use the NIV and I will say this: When we die we are told we will be made like Christ. Of all the poeple I've ever known, he'll have to change the least. May God bless us all and lead us to a greater understanding of His Word and His ways.

Shall we scorn that God has revealed so little concerning His ways, or rejoice that He has revealed so much.

Thanks for your response brother. I too had a rather unsavory meeting with the Doc; I asked him to sign my Bible when I was in Pensacola for a Blowout and he took and signed it without saying a single word. I don't always agree with his mannerisms, but I'm not going to slander the fellow or talk down about him. He has done more for the word of God than I ever will a hundred times over, and who am I to judge another man's servant?

I don't look upon Brother Ruckman as a model of civility, nor is his speech fair and enticing, but some might also malign one of the best Christians that lived:

"And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God." (1 Corinthians 2:1-5)

I take what Brother Ruckman teaches, from God's word, and learn from it. Smooth and suave he isn't, but isn't that the mark of a false prophet? See 2 Peter 2.

I tell you, I am amazed at how many people come on this forum and fit this description of the Alexandrian Cult perfectly or at least very closely. It also seems to me we get three types of Bible deniers on this forum:

1. Those who are honest about their confusion, they are having trouble with the KJV issue, but they really are seeking truth and asking honest questions about the KJV. We can help these people, if they listen and research the issue. I shall think of these as CBD's (Confused Bible Deniers). Perhaps we should pray for more of these people, so we can help them with God's truth on the KJV.

2. Those who are blatantly in denial of the inerrancy of the King James Bible as it exists today. These people seldom seem to repent, they are here merely to create strife, and usually find themselves quickly escorted off the site with a ban. I shall think of these as BBD's, (Blatant Bible Deniers).

3. Those who are sneaky about their denial. These guys come on here and start asking rhetorical questions and they APPEAR to be a category 1 above, but in reality they are perhaps the worst type. I say they are worst because they lurk here for a while and put on appearances, and it takes a fair amount of effort and patient replies to "figure them out." I shall consider these as SBD's, (Sneaky Bible Deniers).

Of course I am conscious that these are all precious souls, and I think we should pray for discernment as we try to deal with these confused people. I have already noticed that some like Bro. George are pretty good at this already.

But in the end, I am still amazed at how many of them align themselves with the Alexandrian Cult doctrine as outlined by Brother Ruckman so many years ago.

May I ask what you wrote him in your letter?

I guess Doc isn't as good with his words as Joel Osteen.
