Hi, I'm amazed. I didn't know there are different editions of the KJV. Wow, Satan has definitely done a good job messing with God Word. My question is one of you mentioned the Cambride edition verses the Norton edition. Does the Thompson Chain Reference Bible for pastors have any errors in it.

Greatly conserned

I would have to say that the Thompson is better than other types of study Bible in several ways, but it is far from perfect. As with any cross-reference Bible, the links are determined based on men's interpretations and sometimes biases. Be always wary when following the references. Secondly, the notes in the back having to do with the history of the King James Bible actually weaken the inerrancy by giving compromising information. Check out the chart and the accompanying information with it.

True Brother Tim, But the perfect That I am commenting on is the Text itself. I fully understand what you mean about the cross referencing and the interpretations of men in the margin notes, I have noticed what you speak about, and added in notes from My own study also, after all, we as men are imperfect so no mans notes are going to be perfect. Only the Word Of God is perfect.

In My Saviour's name, The LORD Jesus Christ.

this is the version of the 1611 bilble that i have, the difference i see,is that the text is not in Gothic print. Is the 1611 bible available with the gothic print? and what exactly is this reprinted 1611 bible. I had bought it for historical value and enjoy reading it. It is stated as being the only word for word reprint of the 1611 Authorized Version on the market.
I found it quite fascinating. Did i make a mistake?

That is the reprint of the 1611 Edition that was first made in 1833.

I also use the Thompson Chain Reference. I really enjoy mine. Dr. Peter Ruckman signed it too.
