I like crushed pineapple in vanilla yogurt, but that's not really an oddity. I think you can even buy it that way now.
Anyone remember putting roasted/salted nuts in soda back in high school? THAT used to gross me out when I saw my friends do it. And in the South, we have this disgusting creation called *boiled peanuts*.... ick, ugh, yuck (shudder).
