Let's not forget, the Muslim conquests may have completely taken over Europe if someone had not resisted them, and the first Crusade was a response to hostile Muslim advances into the territory of the Byzantine Empire.

During the 8th and 9th centuries, the Arabs had already invaded southern Italy along with Sicily and by 846 the Muslims had sacked Rome! The Arab Muslim conquests of 632–732 even dwarfed the Roman Empire, here's a map:

Regardless of how you see history, we have to see Islam's rotten fruit in the light of the modern day. Try having a public Bible study in Saudi Arabia and see how tolerant they are about it. Here is an excellent article regarding the war of Islam on Christianity today:

Yeah I just read that recent news article (I think it was on wnd) about that poor sister in Egypt who wanted to change her religious views to Christian on her ID. I guess the lawyer was like "you're a muslim, you can't change" and she's like "no, I'm a Christian" and then he's like "I'd kill you right now if I had a knife" !!! It's insanity, man. My heart goes out to all every Christian living in Islamic nations. God be with them and give their witness great power!

For Jesus' sake,

there is no tolerance in Saudi Arabia towards Christianity. they ask when you come to their country to respect their culture by not bringing your Bible along. How is a visiting Christian violating their customs by bringing his Bible for personal reading and study?

that is what is detailed when you file for any type of extended visa in Saudi, Yemen, Dubai et al.

OUCH, what a shame, somebody got burned while torching Old Glory...

According to Palestine Today, News photographer Abdul Rahman Al-Khatib received medium-degree burns after he caught fire during coverage of the burning of Israeli and American flags in a march organized by Hamas in Gaza City this afternoon. More here:

I'd like to think that he got smacked for burning Israel's flag...God doesn't like it when His chosen are mistreated...

...but, scripturally, I know I don't have a verse to stand on as far as that goes.

Sounds like he got a taste of what's to come. Lord willing, he'll repent of Islam and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ!

Peace and Love,

Let's review some of President Barack Obama's most recent actions since he was inaugurated a little more than two weeks ago:

* His first call to any head of state as president was to Mahmoud Abbas, leader of Fatah party in the Palestinian territory.

* His first one on one interview with any news organization was with Al Arabia television.

* He ordered Guantanamo Bay closed and all military trials of detainees halted.

* He ordered all overseas CIA interrogation centers closed.

* He withdrew all charges against the masterminds behind the USS Cole and 9/11.

* Today we learn that he is allowing hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refuges to move to and live in the US at American taxpayer expense.

Anyone else seeing a pattern here?

Family life, Islam style...

Founder of Islamic Cable Channel
Beheads His Wife...

"Friends expressed shock on Friday that the founder of a Muslim TV channel — which he launched in order to counter violent images of Muslims — has been arrested in his wife’s brutal slaying..."

...Why do things like this happen?

Because Islamic clerics worldwide have spoken approvingly of wife-beating.

In 2004, an imam in Spain, Mohammed Kamal Mustafa, was found guilty of “inciting violence on the basis of gender” for his book Women in Islam, which discussed the methods and limits of administering “physical punishment” of women.

Muslim men bring this religiously sanctioned violence with them when they immigrate to the West, even to the United States...

In 1984, Sheikh Yousef Qaradhawi, who is one of the most respected and influential Islamic clerics in the world, wrote: “If the husband senses that feelings of disobedience and rebelliousness are rising against him in his wife, he should try his best to rectify her attitude by kind words, gentle persuasion, and reasoning with her. If this is not helpful, he should sleep apart from her, trying to awaken her agreeable feminine nature so that serenity may be restored, and she may respond to him in a harmonious fashion. If this approach fails, it is permissible for him to beat her lightly with his hands, avoiding her face and other sensitive parts.”

Why do they say such things?

Because the permission to beat one’s wife is rooted in the Islamic holy book, the Qur'an, and Islamic tradition.

The Qur'an says: “Men shall take full care of women with the bounties which God has bestowed more abundantly on the former than on the latter, and with what they may spend out of their possessions. And the righteous women are the truly devout ones, who guard the intimacy which God has [ordained to be] guarded. And as for those women whose ill-will you have reason to fear, admonish them [first]; then leave them alone in bed; then beat them…” (4:34)
