Powerful???
Act 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
Act 4:11 This is the stone which was set at naught of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. |

Fundy, this is a secular viewpoint. The fact that they are all "religious leaders" means believers don't follow them anyway.

Hi Graceismine,
I think you are missing the point of my post. I understand that Chistians do not follow these people, and I understand that it is just a list thrown together by secular journalist's. I was simply using some scripture to highlight the folly of those religious leaders who think they have any real power. I love seeing how often scripture can be applied to a situation or event in the world. It really is God saying " dont worry I AM in control". Oh, and its nice to see that the far eastern states of Oz have the internet! Fundy |

What it takes to be a leader in the secular world eyes is what one is doing for worldly peace... unity... and some other stuff as well... as long it's not about John 14:6...

'Great' in what sense?
The Pope
An antiChrist. Archbishop of Canterbury Dr Rowan Williams Arch-druid and anti-fundamentalist Dalai Lama Christ-rejecter and peaceful 'goon' of the New World Order. The Queen Patroness of the secretive and occultic British Freemasons Muhammad Sayid Tantawy the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Mosque Grand Ayatollah Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah A leading figure of Shi'a Islam. Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani as the leading authority in Shi'a Islam Followers of a demonic 'moon-god' Yona Metzger: Chief Rabbi of Israel (Ashkenazi) was appointed to office in 2003 and has put forward the idea for a 'religious United Nations'. Proponent of the New World Order Shlomo Amar Chief Rabbi of Israel (Sephardi) appointed to office in 2003. As above Sri Mata Amritanandamayi is a Hindu spiritual leader. Passes on trance-induced demonic influence by 'hugging' folks. Thinks she's 'god'. Say no more... Li Hongzhi founder of the Falung Gong Dangerous new-age goon who panders to the 'god inside' (god of this world) Ariffin Muhamed leader of the Sky Kingdom based in Malaysia, who claims to be the saviour of the world... Another anti-Christ (see Pope) George O. Wood Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church America... Claims to powers of prophecy and gifts of healing are marks of this denomination. Healing? The death-rate is still one-a-piece! (J.C.O'Hair). God can and does still heal, however, by the time Paul wrote 2 Timothy, the gift of healing (through a human agent) had ceased. And what need of 'prophecy'? We have God's complete revelation, the Bible. Joginder Singh Vedanti Christ rejecter. Adolfo Nicolas leader of the Society of Jesus A Jesuit anti-Christ. He'd be well-pleased with the Modern Versions. Insidious blight on nations and violent pro-Rome agenda. Assassins and murderers. Summary: These are whom the world considers 'great'. As for me (and I hope all of us): "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 God Bless |
