Exclamation Please pray.

This may sound like an absurd Prayer request, so I will give background first. My wife and I lost a child late term in the pregnancy. (In fact it is not probable we will have a child, except our little Hannah, who is in Heaven.) We will see her there. When my wife felt better and stable, I bought her a little dog, a little Bichon, we took her and the cat to the vet, and the vet detected a heart murmour, I ask you to pray that our dog is OK, and it is not really about praying for a dog, it is what she represents, she helped fill a void for my wife when she needed it. It would be very hard on my wife to loose this pet at this juncture, the whole event....was traumatic, and I don't think she could handle it now. It would be hard for me, it is hard to even type this. Blessings.

I'll pray for your wife and your dog. As a woman who has dealt with infertility (both personally and in a Christian woman to woman ministry) for the last 14 years I understand how a "fur baby" can help to fill some of the pain in the heart of a mother who longs to mother and can not. Prayers.

Glad you understand, this little fluff ball, is like a baby, she is smart! Thanks to everyone for praying. Blessings of the Lord.

As someone involved in animal rescue and sees pets as more than disposable goods, you're certainly in my prayers. Our dogs are like family -- even though the IRS doesn't see it that way!

I'm never sure to post when I pray or not, but I know sometimes it's a comfort just to know that someone is praying, so just thought I'd let you know I prayed for the pooch.

Beloved brother, there's nothing silly or wrong about praying for a dog. A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel (Pro. 12:10).

We'll keep all three of you in our prayers.

As one who has seen the benefits of pets in many difficult circumstances, I will join with VR in praying for your family's need. We once had prayer for a cat (one of scores that we have had) that was dying. The vet said that she had distemper and it was fatal. The next morning we took her home and she lived for many years afterward.
