Holpen
Psalms 86:17 Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me.
We were studying the KJV built-in dictionary during our Bible study and prayer meeting this evening. Some of my church members didn't find the unfamiliar word "holpen", for theirs say, "helped". I noticed that they were using KJV published by the Philippine Bible Society, which to my knowledge, not only has been infiltrated by Roman Catholic priests, but also has produced the Hiligaynon version of the ASV. |

As does the 1967 Scofield KJV version, use "helped", also it replaces token with "sign".
This in itself is not bad, but disqualifies those Bibles from being a true KJV. The bigger problem is in that! words of greater importance/difference, may have also been replaced in other verses/chapters. I think I would carefully check this out. |
