Please remember, this is the ONLY read material you have FOR TWENTY YEARS! I understand where you are coming from my Friend, truly. But as I see it, I would rather have a faulty translation in all that time. Hey, I like waves as much as the next guy, but you stare at them twenty years, and you might get a "tad" loco. Look at it another way, pick a CT Version, and use it as a devotional.....
