We should all awake out of sleep, cast off the works of darkness, and put on the armor of light. I think this speaks to our operational and experiential aspect of the Christian life, not our positional reality.

I like the next two verses also:

Romans 13:13-14 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

I love 2 Peter 3:18 and believe we should all purpose to do just that.
