The principle is the same: if you want to get into semantics, we can do it. But the principle is to obey and honor those in authority. Agreed completely. However, we also can be joyful in the fact that our government does allow us to speak our minds freely with regard to politics. It may not be easy, but we can honor our appointed government and also lobby to change its policies.

Although, given the fact that the Bible tells us how things are going to go (ie, downhill), maybe our efforts would be better spent on trying to pull as many people out of the fire as we can...
