Bro Parrish

I like the way you posted the lyrics to Imagine by John Lennon. This song is a perfect example of humanistic thinking. First, it believes that man can solve his own problems without God. In fact, these humanists regard God as superstition that actually prevents the evolution of man.

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Then John wants to hold hands with everybody and have a one world government. But once again he takes a swipe at religion.

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

Then the chorus. Nothing more perfectly reflects the pompous conceit of these liberals. Notice how John says "I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one". How pompous can you get? John is saying that he is not to blame or fault for the world's problems, it's the religious and patriotic folks who are to blame. If we could only get rid of our guns and Bibles (I had to take a little swipe at Obama here) hold hands around the campfire and sing for world peace, then all the world's problems would disappear.

And the last verse is nothing but socialism. Oh, it's wrong to work hard at an honest occupation to take care of your family. It's wrong to buy a nice home to protect them, clothes to keep them warm, and food to keep them healthy. No, we should give it all away, even to those who do not put in so much effort to provide for themselves.
