I always figured evolution to be a creation of man not God... I guess I see macro evolution of species and the "ascent of man" as a lie from the devil, (we have actually called it DEVILUTION)...

We know that God is not the author of confusion in churches, (1 Cor. 14:33) on the other hand God did create some confusion of languages at Babel... do you think evolution is a delusion of God?

And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. (Genesis 9:1)

But the people didn't.

Genesis 11
1. And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.

2. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

3. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.

4. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

The confusing of the languages seem to be as a result of the people not obeying God. Do you think maybe God knew if the people stayed there in one place with one language that it would make it easy for Satan to have influence over them, maybe establish one government with his man as the leader? Just a thought.

As far as evolution;

Romans 1
