Whether it does or not, I fail to understand what your point is. I don't think all of the founding fathers were born again Christians, but whether or not they were doesn't change the fact that the United States
is a present nation. You can make your case that the rebellion and Declaration of Independence were not actions honoring the king and therefor ungodly behavior, but what does that have to do with us now? The US Government
is our government and God has given it to us.
