I believe that one of the main reasons that Calvinism is so popular is that Calvinism appeals to the "
intellect", so it's real "Big" amongst the "
academia" crowd. Everything is worked out ahead of time for Calvinists (i.e.
a ”system of biblical interpretation” and “theological formulations”) so they don't have to do their own individual research and study. {Kind of like College - No?}
