Colossians 4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Because you keep defending him and making it seem like others have no right to criticize him and point out his sin or doctrinal errors. If you don't want others to critique his faults, stop defending him and bringing him up.
