It's funny, I looked up the verse you use 2Peter 3:18. and IRONICALY, 2Peter 2:1 says this. But there were
false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be
false teachers amoung you, who pivily shall bring in
damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. KJV!!!
