The Bible does not need to be updated, although that is what they do with the many new translations out today, such as the NIV and NKJV. The King James Bible is the perfect word of God. God inspired and preserved it in English for you and me.
Psalms 12:6-7
6 "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
