Mark 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Are we really instructed to take serpents, literally, or is there another interpretation for this scripture? Were these instructions for all that believe or just for the eleven that were present at the time?
