God Bless Brother Cody
I have a question though,
you said
"If you want to be saved you must first realize that you're a sinner and repent of your sins. Because of your sins, God cannot let you into Heaven. The Bible says God is a just and Holy God, so the only way you can escape Hell is to accept the Blood of Jesus Christ."
Do you see a contradiction here?
To be saved you must
1. Repent of your sins
but then you say
2. The only thing that saves you is the blood of Christ.
So what saves? Repentance of sins (an action we take), or Jesus blood (something he did)?
Brother, I would like to propose a rewording of that paragraph above
If you want to be saved you must first realize that you're a sinner. Because of your sins, God cannot let you into Heaven. The Bible says God is a just and Holy God, so the only way you can escape Hell is to accept the payment Jesus Christ made with His blood. You must repent from trusting your own works of righteousness, or your own thoughts and ideas about eternity, and trust what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross. Turn from your ways, your works, to Jesus.
A man cannot repent of sins until he is born again. He cannot stop sinning or angering God without the new birth. But a man has free will to turn to God in faith, and ask God to give him that life. Praise Jesus
