Well, for me it started when I read Matthew 4:4
Matt 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by
every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
The word "every" really jumped out at me. How could God expect us to live by
every word that proceeds from His mouth unless he has provided
every word for us?
And then the famous verses in Psalms chapter 12
Psalms 12:6 The words of the LORD are
pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
Now what does "pure" mean? To me, pure means without corruption or error. And in verse 7 God promises to preserve his "pure" word
for ever.
So, I knew one of the versions of the Bible was the actual Word of God. After study, I came to believe the King James Bible.
