Eagle, you went from the realm of attempted Bible study into the realm of fantasy and reading what you want in there. This passage is not a type and the only symbolism in it is the living water which pictures salvation in Christ. The passage is literal history - but you seem to prefer eisegesis (reading what you want into the text) instead of exegesis (bringing out what the text actually says). If you do this to all your Bible studying, no wonder you don't think the Bible is the Word of God (but contains the Word of God - whatever you try to "take" out of it). I had to stop reading your post part way through because it goes too far in winging your personal ideas.
