I found it interesting that Peter quotes Joel in Acts 2 but none of what Joel said ever happened in Acts 2. so by this we know the dispensationis not of Church Age but of the preparation for the Kingdom.

that Age was postponed and now we are in the church Age but this one will soon be over and then those who are here Namely the Jews will see Joel completely fulfilled during the Great Tribulation.

the context of 2Tim 3:1-5 is found in and around those verses. starting in chapter 2 these are Pastoral Episitles mostly this attitude has always been in the world of unsaved, but in the context it is professed Christian men who have become lovers of Selves and find the discription of them in 2Tim3:1-5.

using scripture to support scripture we are told in 2Tim 3:5.. from such turn away, and in 1Cor5:11 that we are not to turn away from those in the world but those who profess to be a brother and are doing such things. even in 2Thess3:14we are to note them and not keep company with them. this is not about men of the world being this way in the last days. 2tim3:1-5 is about professing Christians and thier leaders in the last days For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. and boy do we see this to be true today and you and I have expereinced this of Christians as well.

The world has always been lovers of self and the rest. But the church was to forsake the ways of the world but today they fit thiese scriptures to the tee.
