the Book says, "...I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:" 1) God will not avenge unsaved people 2)They are saved because they are in heaven under Gods Altar which has been sprinkled with Jesus blood, their death was their work added to their faith their testimony they held. Yeah it may not say they were saved but most would agree these persons are saved tribulational saint.
