Hello Brothers and Sisters. Here is an opportunity to encourage our troops in a book to be published by Xulon Press.

"Write a letter of inspiration and encouragement, or pen a short prayer or poem. They need our support! Then we’ll compile the letters and publish them together in a book—then send copies to military chaplains serving in Iraq and in Afghanistan.

Imagine being separated from your friends and family, your own spouse and children, for months and even years? Imagine being on the front lines, walking the streets of Baghdad, or fighting the Taliban on the border of Pakistan. Meanwhile, people back in America forget about your sacrifice and some even disparage your service to our country!

As one of the country’s largest Christian book publishers, we want to help. And we’re asking you to participate. We need hundreds of Christian writers—people just like you—to remind the troops why we support them and why God loves them.

If you can help, please write a 150-word (or less) letter to the troops and submit it below. We’ll confirm your entry by email. Every letter we receive WILL be published. Copies of the book will be sent to military chaplains at the Pentagon for distribution overseas.

We will also offer all of our contributors an opportunity to purchase copies for their own libraries or to send to family and friends who are serving in the military for Christmas."
