Classic Note Interleaf KJV by Anchor?
 

Hello All

I joined up on the forum because I liked what I read last night.

I'm in the process of getting a new Bible, but am a bit indecisive. Hopefully, somebody who is on this forum will be familiar with the Classic Not Interleaf KJV by Anchor. It has every other page blank, and that suits me fine.

If you have it, how's the font size? I have a Cambridge, which I think is 9 pt on the wide margins.

How's the paper? Is it cheezy or sufficient? I use Pigma Micron 005 archival pens.

Anything else I should know about it?

I was also looking for an interleaf KJB. On the following website they only have the Oxford edition. They use to sell a Cambridge Edition. I called them and they said they were unable to get a hold of the supplier that they received the Cambridge edition from. I'm not even sure which Cambridge edition it was.

I've pretty much given up on finding an interleaf Cambridge edition.

Then I was looking at the wide margin Cambridge edition that use to be recommended on Brandon's website. I guess this one will no longer be supplied either? It was the Cambridge edition that many recommend on this site, which is very hard to find.

So I will just be happy to have my Defined King James Bible and my Concord King James Bible and continue to use a separate note book during the Church sermons. I will be watching this thread though to see if anyone has any ideas on how to find a wide margin Cambridge edition, (c. 1900, I think is the right one?)

If I have to, I'll get an Oxford and make my own margin corrections...Being an interleaved, I should have plenty of room to do it. Maybe somebody could post a list of the changes.

I am not a textual scholar, and I doubt that I would catch any of the place names, etc. Yes, it would be awesome if somebody who has the better text would print it, but I don't want to build my own right now. Maybe I'll print my own 1990 Cam later on. For now, Oxford would work for me.

Chewy, I have not personally used the Hyles Interleaf you mention, but I have heard it is good. Cambridge used to do one but dropped it several years ago, sorry I cannot be of better help.
Beth. I have a Cambridge Cameo Wide Margin there are still a few 'knocking around' here in the UK. However you can get a Concord Wide Margin now, if you are looking for a Loose Leaf, I know Riverside used to publish one with a leather Cover with post type fixings. Hendrickson publish both a Wide Margin and a Loose Leaf Bible.

I called and the sales rep said it is a Scrivner -- Cambridge c. 2005. I don't know, I think I will hold out for a c. 1900 Cambridge. Would really love to to have note taking ability in a KJB all in one binder.

Have you checked eBay for Bibles? They have some real good deals on older Bibles - Some used; barely used; and never used.

I did look on e-bay for the Cambridge Cameo Wide Margin and couldn't find it. I have more time now so I think I will take another stab at it.

We've gotten several older Bibles off of e-bay. It is very hit and miss. You just have to check back every now and then to see if they have what you are looking for.

I have a anchor classic note that I have hardly used
It has some light notes on 3 pages and is in excellent condition
