Sister in ICCU

Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for all your prayers! My brother-in-law said she is responding to the meds.,and the Dr. will try to take her off the Ventilator either Monday or Tuesdy. My baby sister and I called last night(a 3-way call) and the head nurse put the phone up next to her ear and we were able to speak verses/our love and encouragment into her ear...she was awake enough to hear and understand what we said..:) Our God is an awesome God!
I will keep you informed as the Dr. lets us know her prognosis. PRAYER WORKS!

Blessings,
Billie

Sister in ICCU

Hi,

An update on my sister..she is still in ICCU on the ventalator. There is some improvement the nurse said, but my other sister and I feel to go there. Her husband feels we need to be there and I trust his judgement.(I've lost my husband of 40yrs several yrs. ago)
Please keep us all in your prayers....we can feel the love and care.

Blessings,
Billie

Update on Sister

Hi all:)
I just returned from Pueblo,Colo. to see my sister in ICCU, my other sister and I flew in on Sat. With prayers, loving attention,we stayed with her all night...we were there as much as they let us..Sunday and Monday was the same. On Monday aft. I walked in and she had the Vent.out and was talking! Later that day, after tests, they removed her feeding tube..the RN's and the Pulmonary Specialist told us they'd had very little hope for her recovery.
We flew home Wednesday, talked to her last night and today they moved her out of ICCU..she is eating regular food and is gaining strength. Praise the LORD! She had been on the Ventilator for 9 days.I believe its a miracle.
We want to thank each one of you for your prayers for Glenda and family.
Blessings on each of you:) She still needs strength as she is so fragile, a warrior's heart tho.

Hi Brother Chette,

Yes, thanks! Wanted to tell you what a wonderful site you have! Beautiful wife and 2 daughters...and the baby son is precious! The Ministry there sounds like a growing..joyful, well balanced, planted Church. The pictures of all the youth ,says they are finding truth there. :)

Will put your church on our prayer list, and your family.

Blessings.

Sister doing well!

Update on my sister...God is so good:)

After Glenda went to the Physical therapy wing of her hometown hospital, she was doing awesome, gaining strength...they discovered she had a tiny bloodclot in her femoral arterie in left leg..so they also did an MRI on her lungs and saw that she had a few tiny clots there. Her breathing was doing great, she was down to 3 liters of oxygen from 6...but the concern they had was the clots traveling to her brain or heart. Dr.s decided to put her on a blood thinner, cuemiden?

It happened so fast! the medicine seems to be working;she is home, cooking,
light housekeeping...she just needs to be careful of being scratched because of bleeding.

So, from being on a ventalator for over 9 days...to home..its a miracle!

We all thank you so much for your prayers and lifting the family up.;)
God is so faithful.

Bless each of you,

Billie
