How did you come to find av1611.com?
I'm really curious how everyone came to find out about these forums. I try to lead people here when I discuss the KJB, and considering how many unregistered viewers of these forums there are, I'd say it is likely that some of these folks find there way here.
So I'll start. Back in April/May 2008 I decided I ought to finally read some books on the KJB. I had read some tracts on it years ago, and for years was fierce in my defense of it (even with a weak knowledge of the subject, lol), but hadn't really gotten into the nitty gritty. So I ordered all of Riplingers books, since her New Age Bible Versions was really the only book I knew of at that time that took the position I found myself in. After these books I did a google search and stumbled upon http://av1611.com/kjbp/books.html which led me to order "Crowned With Glory" and "Which Version is the Bible?" (btw Brandon you should host Dr. Jones book, since it is free to distribute and is an invaluable resource for KJB noobs). I also explored the rest of this site and found these forums. Boy were these forums a treat! When I wasn't arguing with George and Chette (sorry guys!) I found myself surrounded FOR THE FIRST TIME! by people that loved THE BOOK! I truly feel so blessed to know you all. I have grown as a Christian in the fellowship of av1611.com/forums more than at any period in my life.
