KJV Bibles Needed

please pray for our ministry in Palawan Philippines.

I recently gave away our last copy of the KJV in English. We ran out of NT KJV in Tagalog last year.

We struggle in prayer alot for our daily needs.

but we need more KJV Bibles and the Tagalog NT KJV. PLease pray that the Lord supplies for them and they get to us.

Aloha brother,

Do I understand you correctly? Do you live in the Philippines? We are sending some books, etc. to brother Sammy ["Bible Student" - Forum] in Iloilo City. Perhaps we might be able to assist you also - I can make no promises, but we try to help out the brethren in India; Thailand; Mongolia; and the Philippines when, and if we can.

If you are willing - Please let me know the details.

Yours for the Lord Jesus Christ and His holy word,

George Anderson

P.S. I married a Filipino girl here in Hawaii 47 years ago (American born - mother and father from Ilocos Norte). :)

I pray for your ministry in Palawan, chette777. I have gone to one part of Palawan and I found it "less comfortable" to minister there than here in Iloilo city.
Even the few Christian bookstores here sell less and less KJVs and small print KJVs, which makes Bible reading to many ordinary Christians less and less comfortable or enjoyable. We also have ran out gospel tracts, and last month, I received text messages from a pastor in Negros island that stated something like this: "Pastor, please send us gospel tracts. I don't want to quit. Souls are dying. Just send us gospel tract."
Thanks,Bro. George, for lending a helping hand to the brethren around the world!

Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

God, indeed, knows our need. Bro. George, I received the package you sent, and and they are the much needed books for the library we are putting up for our small Bible school.
Thank God Who answers prayer and gives more than we ask or think, and praise Him for those who are willing to be the "answer"!

Bibles needed

Brothers Chette and BibleStudent,

I think that George will post tomorrow but I just wanted to say this quick thing. Although the books came from our personal library The postage was paid by your fellow believers in our little assembly. We just didn't want you to think otherwise. Any help we can send will come from our "Group" and any other Christian brothers we know who are willing to help.

I am glad we can be of help to our brothers in the PI. I have never been there. When my Mother came to Hawaii one of my brothers stayed back with his Aunt. I still have family that I pray for there.

In Christ service,
Irene

chette777 04-26-2008 12:49 AM

Thanks Renee

we give thanks for all your help and the help of the brethren.

Biblestudent 04-26-2008 06:59 AM

We thank the Lord for you all who take "the extra mile" for us here in PI. It inspires us to continue reaching for more souls! God bless y'all there.

chette777 04-27-2008 07:10 AM

We thank you all for your prayers for our Youth camp

we had 15 students believe on Christ as their personal Savior and 29 Baptisms.

Friday night we gave them a chance for testamonies so they could share how they were blest from the teaching. many gave positive testimonies. some said they had never attended a youth camp like ours where they were able to learn and encouraged to walk a closer walk with Jesus.

Thanks again for the prayers of righteous men do avail much.

chette777 05-04-2008 08:04 AM

Praise God for your prayers

we had 15 believe on Christ and we had the plus 14 more for baptisms.

God moved greatly in this camp our speaker is looking forward to join us again next year.

God bless you all and once again thanks for the prayers

Brother Tim 05-13-2008 02:44 PM

We have some old copies that are available. email me.

Brother Tim 05-14-2008 10:59 AM

Chette, thanks for responding. I am posting rather than emailing so that others might participate also.

In your email you said:
Quote:

If you want to send them via a Mabuhay LBC or Forex, two companies that ship door to door you can put them in a 17"X18"X20" box with used clothing, medicines, vitamins or other supplies for around $80. LBC has locations throughout the States you can contact them at 1-800-338-5424, if in So Calif you can call 1-800-575-0650
Are the other things included to enable the Bibles to get through customs, or are they just needed. Are there any limitations on medicines/vitamins?

TheBibleSender 05-14-2008 10:50 PM

Do you know if they will ship that rate anywhere in the Philippines? God bless. :)

Renee 05-17-2008 04:19 PM

Chette,
The nearest forex office to us is located in California. On Kauai we found a company that ships to Oahu and then to the PI. It takes at least six weeks, or at least that is what they said.

Phil Box: 808-245-8422

We just got a box ready to ship so we will see how long it takes.

Thanks for your encouragement and kind words. I count you among the "genuine" brethren on the Forum and although we may had some differences I would never treat you in the same way that I treat those who I regard as "suspect". :)

Ephesians 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

The Lord bless you and yours,

Hi Chette,

I have the address for:
Philbox International Express
#36 Laura Drive, 1st Avenue
Bagong Bayan, Bicutan, Taguig
Metro Manila, Philippines

The cosrt is $80.00 and they quoted 6 weeks. It takes a week (plus) to get to Oahu. The Big Island of Hawaii is not serviced by them as far as I can see. Philbox brought the box to our house, took a deposite of $5.00, and when I got a hold of them this morning they said they would be here this evening to pick it up.

I gave them a warning----- it is heavy! Don't hurt your back when you get it. I am glad it will be delivered to your door. Our Lord provided the "extra" money this shipment. He is aware of you needs.

May the Lord continue to bless and keep you. I love the word keep, it describes so well the way the Lords does things. He feeds us, nurtures us, showers us abundently with grace and mercy, and even faith to believe in Him.

In Christ Love,
Renee

Biblestudent 05-20-2008 10:48 PM

Bro. George and Renee,
I believe that's a bit "extraordinary" what you are doing. Giving the Word of God out "anywhere, anytime, anyhow" in the world! Amen!:)
