Of course Philip didn't teach the eunuch Romans 6.
Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Colossians 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. I do think some pastors rightly use those words today during water baptism as a public declaration, proclamation, and testimony to what has occurred in the believers life spiritually. "... we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."
I am crucified with Him, buried, and raised to walk in newness of life. That is a "spiritual" reality in my life.
