That is only one of His names - yes, the one that is used the most in the OT, but there are many others. Jehovah is used seven times in our King James Bible.

Jerry,

Maybe so, but it is one of his names. ' Yahweh ' is not one of his names. I say call him what you like, just call him a Bible name. I have no problem with calling him The Lord or Jehovah.

By the way The Lord is used over 31,000 times in the Bible. It is always talking about the same person. I like using The Lord, it is his name. The Lord is in the Bible just a few more times than Jehovah. When you say The Lord to any one they know of whom you speak. For there is only one, The Lord.

Praise The Lord!

and there is coming a day when everyone will call Him LORD!

Philippians 2:10-11 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

AMEN, AMEN!

Jehovah is God's proper and personal name, whereas Lord is a title and description of who/what He is. Both "Jehovah" and "Lord" are names, but they are different kind of names, and the right word appears at the right place throughout the KJB.
