My position on this topic is found in I Corinthians 7:27-28:

Paul advises it is best to stay single if you are
loosED (past tense, divorced). Then he states that in the event you do remarry
thou hast not sinned. Nevertheless he then warns that they will have trouble in the flesh...
Pretty clear to me.
