While disagreement and debate are fine, abusive and obnoxious posting is not.
Genuine and honest questions are always welcome. These forums should be a place where people seeking the truth are able to ask sincere questions and engage in sincere dialog. However, disruptive posting behavior from disrespectful critics of King James Bible believers will not be tolerated. If you wish to debate the Bible version issue on this forum, you are expected to be respectful in the manner you do it, and you must engage in two-way communication -- one-way "shotgun posting" and sophistry will not be allowed.
Bible correcting, which is calling the text of the King James Bible "in error" and posting "better" translations, is not permitted and will result in a ban. Asking questions about verses of the KJV and translations is okay. Correcting the Bible is not.
There is a community here. Posters that prove they are only here to be disruptive will not be allowed to continue posting. This is a private service and the forum administrators reserve the right to moderate as they see fit in order to maintain the community that has grown here.
Posters who abuse their posting privileges on this forum may be put into moderation, so that each post must be approved by a moderator.
Please understand that when this forum was first opened, we tried the "free for all," "anything goes" methods of moderation. It did not work and undermined the goals of AV1611.com. We are now seeking a balance between open dialog and edifying content. Thank you for your cooperation. |
